Turtle headband
The tortoise headband is a variant of the figure-of-eight headband . As a rule, it is superimposed on the area of large joints.
The tortoise bandage is bandage tours that intersect on the flexor surface of the joint and fan out on the extensor surface.
converging turtle bandagebegins with circular tours of the bandage above and below the joint. Bandage moves cross on the flexion surface. Subsequent tours approach each other to the convex part of the joint until the affected area is completely closed.
The divergent tortoiseshell bandage begins with a circular tour around the center of the joint. Subsequent moves lead above and below the previous ones with the bandage crossing on the flexion surface of the joint. Each subsequent round overlaps the previous one by 2/3. Bandage moves lead until the damaged area is completely closed.
