Diet 10a
Diet 10a is indicated for diseases of the cardiovascular system, accompanied by severe circulatory failure (II-III degree), myocardial infarction in the acute and subacute periods.
The purpose of the appointment of table number 10a:
- improvement of the activity of the cardiovascular system;
- increased blood circulation;
- sparing the digestive system, kidneys, liver;
- reduction of edema;
- normalization of metabolism.
Diet 10a is characterized by a sharp restriction in the diet of salt to 1.5-1.8 grams, the inclusion of foods and dishes rich in potassium. The introduction of free fluid is limited, food is cooked without salt. Special salt-free bread is baked. All dishes are steamed or boiled, dishes are served mashed.
The composition of diet number 10a:
- proteins - 70-80 grams (of which 50 grams are proteins of animal origin);
- fats - 60 grams;
- carbohydrates - 80 grams.
Energy value - 2000-2100 kcal.
Foods excluded from the diet with diet number 10a:
- Types of bread containing table salt, fresh bread, pastries.
- All soups cooked in broths, soups with unmashed cereals and vegetables.
- Pork, lamb, all kinds of fatty meat, sinewy meat, goose, duck, sausages, smoked meats, canned meat.
- Fatty fish species, salted and smoked fish, caviar, canned fish.
- Cheese, fried and hard boiled eggs.
- Legumes, millet, barley and barley groats.
- Almost all types of vegetables except those allowed, vegetable snacks.
- Fruits and berries with coarse fiber and thick skin, chocolate, creams.
- Sauces prepared on the basis of broths, spicy seasonings and spices.
- Coffee, cocoa, strong tea, carbonated drinks, kvass, grape juice.
Products recommended for diet number 10a:
- Wheat bread from flour of the 1st and 2nd grade - salt-free, dried and in the form of crackers; biscuits without salt are inedible. The daily norm of allowed bakery products is 150 grams.
- Soups on vegetable broth with pureed vegetables and cereals, milk soup. The daily norm is 200 grams.
- Low-fat varieties of beef and veal, lean chicken, turkey, rabbit. Dishes from permitted meat are steamed, boiled or minced meat products are processed.
- Low-fat types of fish boiled or chopped, as well as steamed.
- Kefir, curdled milk, acidophilus, grated cottage cheese and pastes from it. Milk is allowed only if it does not cause flatulence. Sour cream is added to dishes.
- Soft-boiled eggs - up to 1 per day, steam and protein omelettes.
- Boiled vermicelli, mashed rice and buckwheat groats, cereals with diluted milk or water, oatmeal, semolina soufflé.
- Zucchini, carrots, beets, pumpkins, cauliflower, potatoes - limited. Boiled, mashed, in the form of meatballs, soufflé, mashed potatoes. Ripe raw tomatoes, dill and parsley.
- Soft ripe raw fruits and berries, soaked dried fruits, pureed and baked apples. Fruit jellies, mousses, sambuki, kissels, compotes.
- Marmalade, marshmallow, marshmallow, jam, honey, sugar.
- Sauces on water and decoctions of vegetables with the addition of tomato juice, citric acid.
- Cinnamon, vanillin, bay leaf - in dishes and drinks.
- Fresh butter, refined vegetable oil - 5-10 grams per day in meals.
- Rosehip broth, weak tea with milk or lemon, coffee drinks, freshly squeezed vegetable and fruit juices.
Diet 10 a involves fractional nutrition: 6 meals a day in small volumes.
I will definitely show this diet to my mom. She has heart failure. Although she knows the limits, she most often does not adhere to them. I will show this post in the hope that it will make her choose the menu more carefully.
