Diet number 2
Diet number 2 is indicated for chronic gastritis with reduced secretion, chronic enterocolitis in remission, dysfunction of the masticatory apparatus, in the postoperative period, after an acute period of an infectious disease.
The purpose of diet number 2 is a moderately sparing diet aimed at normalizing the secretory and motor function of the stomach and intestines.
Diet No. 2 is physiologically complete, includes dishes containing extractives and other substances that stimulate the separation of gastric secretions, but do not irritate the gastrointestinal mucosa. Boiled, baked dishes are recommended, as well as fried ones without the use of breadcrumbs and without a rough crust. Energy value from 2800 to 3100 kcal. Compound:
- proteins - 80-100 grams;
- fats - 80-100 grams;
- carbohydrates - 400 grams.
Vitamins in an increased amount, vitamin C requires 100 mg. The frequency of meals is 4-5 times a day.
Foods excluded from the diet with diet number 2
- fatty meats and fish;
- lard;
- fried breaded dishes;
- canned foods, including pickles, marinades;
- hard-boiled eggs;
- fresh baking;
- spicy sauces, horseradish, mustard;
- legumes;
- mushrooms;
- swede, radish, radish, onion, garlic, paprika, cucumbers;
- ice cream and cold drinks, kvass, grape juice;
- raw fruits with rough skin, pulp and grains;
- chocolate, fatty creams.
Recommended Foods for Diet #2
- Soups on weak broths, with pureed vegetables and cereals, meatballs, pasta, pickle without cucumbers.
- Lean meat, fish boiled and baked or fried without breading products, as well as chopped - cutlets, meatballs, poultry or rabbit fillet fried in an egg, milk sausages.
- Milk, cream - whole in small quantities, mainly added to drinks and dishes. Kefir, fermented baked milk, curdled milk, fresh cottage cheese and in dishes - casseroles, cheesecakes, lazy dumplings, as well as sour cream as an addition to the dish.
- Eggs in the form of an omelette, steamed or fried without the formation of a crust, soft-boiled.
