Why do you need a filter in a children's clinic
The main task of the children's polyclinic filter is to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Therefore, the filter divides children into 2 streams. The first stream is healthy children, convalescents of diseases, children with normal temperature and no rash or other signs of infectious diseases. The second stream is children with fever, rash, dyspeptic disorders and other symptoms of contagious diseases.
A nurse or filter assistant examines children and interviews them or interviews parents, measures the temperature of the child's body, puts nursing diagnosis and decides whether the child needs to see a doctor. In the presence of hyperthermia, rash, acute dyspepsia, and other factors, the infection is suspected, the child is isolated - placed in a box, which should be located in an adjacent room and have a separate exit to the street. It is also possible to be sent home for treatment with exemption from attending a kindergarten or school. In a serious condition of the child, the nurse should provide emergency care to the child in time.
Transportation of the child, if necessary, is carried out by ambulance. After the release of the isolation box, final disinfection , ventilation and bactericidal irradiation are carried out in it.
