Optimal immobilization of the shoulder in case of fractures of the clavicle and humerus Deso bandage bandage , in some cases - plaster.

Before applying the bandage, the armpit is examined. Hygienic treatment of this area is carried out, followed by powdering with talc. To absorb sweat and more comfortable position of the body "under the arm" a cotton-gauze roller is inserted.

When applying a Dezo bandage, the patient is facing the medical worker. At the same time, you should calm him down, inspire confidence in the success of the treatment and explain the need for a bandage.

The arm on the affected side should be bent at an angle of 90 degrees.

We make the 1st fixing tour of the bandage, capturing the affected shoulder through the chest. We repeat twice.

2nd round: from the armpit of the healthy side along the anterior surface of the chest to the affected shoulder girdle.

3rd round : along the back surface of the affected shoulder, under the elbow, embracing the diseased forearm, through a healthy armpit, we draw along the back to the diseased shoulder girdle.

4th round : down the front surface of the diseased shoulder, cover the elbow of the affected side, lead along the back to the armpit of the healthy side, return to the front surface of the chest.

Further rounds, starting from the 2nd, we repeat at least 3 times. Until a good fixation of the shoulder is achieved.

The Deso bandage ends with a circular tour around the entire chest.
